Roles and Responsibilities
- Development of the annual strategic marketing plan and budgets for region
- Quarterly review and adjustments of the marketing plan by country
- Oversee advertising campaigns and initiatives
- Development of the creative ideas for each campaign as per the marketing plan - layout and idea generation
- Development of marketing bulletins as well as CRM mailers - layout and copy
- Ensuring all in-country ATL print items are done, flighted and maintained for the period of the campaign
- Checking and approval of all paid media boosts on online platforms
- Approval of below the line events as well as budget breakdown
- Ensuring all platforms of communication are executed according to the marketing plan for the quarter
- Monitoring of all TTL interaction and engagement and directing leads obtained
- Monitoring and updating of dealer websites with latest campaigns as well as ensuring the correct information is available on dealer location page
- Inventory checks of sales collateral for main and sub-dealer network
- Ordering and design of all POS material including display POS - handover give-aways - Model Spec sheets
- Preparation and submission of OEM month end report
- Preparation of internal results and performance presentations and reports
- Dealership material preparation/ordering and monitoring i.e. posters, brand walls etc
- Development and execution of launch plans as well as large motorshow events in country
- Management of PR relationships and exposure output from events
- Management of non-campaign content across all social sites for all countries
- Development of all social media copy/caption for monthly posting plans
- Monthly monitoring of competitor actions report
- Month end budget and expense reports
- Compiling of report requirements from the OEM
- Ensuring CI adherence in creative development, brand look and feel
- Ensuring marketing spend and budget adherence with finance team
Qualifications and Experience
- Marketing degree
- Minimum 5 years at managerial level
- East African Market experience an advantage
