Role Description
The Finance Clerk (YES candidates) will support the finance function with day-to-day transactional and administrative tasks in an on-site role based in Polokwane. This full-time position includes processing and reconciling invoices, maintaining accurate bookkeeping records, and assisting with basic financial reporting. The role involves capturing financial data into systems, checking documentation for accuracy, and coordinating with internal teams to resolve queries. The Finance Clerk will also help with filing, organizing financial documents, and supporting audits or compliance reviews as required.
Qualifications
- Candidates need to have a Finance degree/diploma qualification.
- Candidates should possess strong Finance and Bookkeeping skills, with the ability to handle basic accounting records and transactions.
- Candidates should possess solid Invoicing skills, including accurate processing, reconciliation, and follow-up on outstanding amounts.
- Candidates should possess good Analytical Skills to review financial data, identify discrepancies, and support problem-solving.
- Candidates should possess effective Communication skills for interacting with colleagues, clients, and stakeholders in a professional manner.
- Basic computer literacy with proficiency in MS Excel and other office software.
- Attention to detail, reliability, and strong organizational skills.
- Eligibility and willingness to participate in the YES (Youth Employment Service) programme.
