A well-established company in the Manufacturing / Steel i ndustry in the East rand is seeking a Fabrication Team Leader

POSITION INFO

Minium requirements NQF 5 qualification in a Technical or Management field Strong business acumen and leadership ability Proficient Microsoft Office skills 10+ years' experience in fabrication and/or manufacturing operations Knowledge of steel production and lean manufacturing processes Strong attention to detail with the ability to read and interpret technical drawings Main Responsibilities: Ensuring continuous improvement principles for lean manufacturing are identified and implemented throughout your area of responsibility. Manage the fabrication team to ensure compliance to cost effective material fabricating principles and on time customer due date delivery. Manage processing of the tailoring and welding sections and ensure high quality product are manufactured to customer satisfaction.. Ensure compliance with the SHEQ - management ISO 9001 & ISO 45001 system in your areas of responsibility.
