Inside Sales Representative Join an established specialty chemicals distributor in a role combining commercial sales, pricing analysis, customer relationship management, and logistics coordination. Cape Town (Wembley Square) | In Office | Belgium Working Hours, Monday to Friday | R25,000 - R35,000 per month ABOUT OUR CLIENT Our client is an established distributor of specialty chemicals with a history spanning more than 225 years. The business supplies a wide range of industries including food, cosmetics, pharmaceuticals, agriculture, and industrial applications. Operating internationally, the company focuses on building and strengthening long-term relationships with customers and suppliers while supporting sustainable business growth through distribution expertise and commercial partnerships. THE ROLE: INSIDE SALES REPRESENTATIVE The Inside Sales Representative plays a key role in supporting commercial operations through pricing calculations, quotation preparation, customer relationship management, order coordination, inventory monitoring, and sales support activities. This role works closely with customers, suppliers, logistics teams, account managers, and product managers to ensure efficient commercial processes and service delivery. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Determine sales prices based on purchasing costs, import costs, transport costs, margins, and other factors.
- Prepare accurate customer quotations.
- Act as the main point of contact for customers, suppliers, sales managers, and logistics teams.
- Foster long-term collaborations with customers and suppliers.
- Coordinate the order process from purchase through to delivery in collaboration with the logistics team.
- Monitor stock levels to support product availability.
- Analyse sales data to support inventory management.
- Contribute to process improvement initiatives.
- Participate in ad hoc projects.
- Prepare reports to support commercial activities.
- Collaborate closely with account managers and product managers. ABOUT YOU
- At least 3 years of experience in a commercial or logistics role.
- Bachelor''s degree, Master''s degree, or equivalent through experience.
- Experience within a similar industry.
- Proven sales and revenue generation experience.
- International sales experience, preferably within Europe.
- Experience with pricing calculations and logistics coordination.
- Experience working with complex commercial and operational processes.
- Strong numerical insight.
- Analytical and critical mindset.
- Commercially minded.
- Excellent communication skills in English.
- Dutch language skills.
- French language skills would be advantageous.
- Flemish language skills would be advantageous.
- Experience within a logistics or international environment would be advantageous.
- Ability to work independently.
- Proactive work attitude.
- Flexible approach to work.
