SUMMARY

As the Factory Manager, you will be the heartbeat of our production facility. You will oversee the end-to-end manufacturing process—from the precision CNC cutting of EPS to the casting of concrete webs and the final assembly of our specialized panels. We are looking for a hands-on leader with a strong mechanical engineering background who can optimize workflows, ensure uncompromising quality, and lead a multi-disciplinary team using a philosophy of empowerment and accountability.

Minimum Requirements

  • Education: National Diploma or Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related technical field.
  • Experience: 5+ years in a manufacturing environment, with at least 3 years in a supervisory or management role.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in CNC programming and operation.
  • Knowledge of concrete casting/curing processes is a significant advantage.
  • Experience in composite material assembly or general construction manufacturing is a significant advantage.
  • Soft Skills: Strong problem-solving abilities, excellent communication, and a "firm but fair" leadership style.

Key Responsibilities

Operational Excellence & Production Planning

  • Lead and manage daily factory operations, ensuring production targets are met on time and within budget.
  • Optimize the workflow between the CNC cutting, concrete casting station, and final assembly.
  • Implement Lean manufacturing principles to reduce waste and improve throughput.

Technical Oversight & Maintenance

  • Oversee the calibration, operation, and maintenance of CNC machinery and concrete processing equipment.
  • Troubleshoot mechanical issues and coordinate repairs to minimize downtime.
  • Ensure the structural integrity and specification adherence of all composite panels.

Team Leadership & Development

  • Manage a diverse workforce of foremen, technicians, engineers, machine operators, and assembly workers.
  • Identify skill gaps and coordinate training for CNC operation, safety, and specialized casting techniques.

Quality Control & Safety

  • Maintain rigorous quality standards for EPS density, concrete strength, and assembly tolerances.
  • Uphold a "Safety First" culture, ensuring all OHS (Occupational Health and Safety) protocols are strictly followed.
  • Conduct regular audits of the facility and equipment.

Supply Chain & Inventory

  • Manage inventory levels for raw materials (EPS beads/blocks, cement, additives, steel).
  • Coordinate with procurement to ensure a steady flow of materials to prevent production bottlenecks.
