POSITION INFO

A well-established property developer is seeking an experienced Building Foreman to join its construction team on high-end residential developments in the Clara Anna Fontein area and surrounding northern suburbs of Cape Town. Key Responsibilities: Manage and supervise all on-site construction activities. Coordinate and monitor subcontractors and labour teams. Ensure projects are completed according to programme, quality standards, and specifications. Maintain a safe and productive work environment. Monitor workmanship and quality control throughout all construction phases. Liaise with Site Managers, Contracts Managers, consultants, and suppliers. Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations. Assist with project planning, scheduling, and resource allocation. Minimum Requirements: Minimum 5 years' experience as a Building Foreman on residential housing developments. Proven track record in managing multiple housing units simultaneously. Strong knowledge of building methods, finishes, and construction sequencing. Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications. Good leadership, communication, and organisational skills. Valid driver's licence and own transport. Reside in or near the Northern Suburbs of Cape Town (advantageous).
