SUMMARY

New Vehicle Sales Manager

Location: Lenasia, Johannesburg, Gauteng

A well-established multi-franchise dealership in Lenasia is seeking an experienced and results-driven

New Vehicle Sales Manager to lead its sales team. The successful candidate will be responsible for driving new vehicle sales, achieving dealership targets, managing and motivating the sales team, and ensuring exceptional customer service.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead, mentor, and manage the new vehicle sales team.
• Achieve monthly and annual sales, profitability, and CSI targets.
• Develop and implement effective sales strategies.
• Monitor sales performance and provide coaching where required.
• Ensure compliance with dealership and manufacturer standards.
• Build and maintain strong customer relationships.
• Oversee stock management and vehicle ordering.
• Prepare sales reports and forecasts for management.
• Drive finance and insurance penetration in collaboration with the F&I department.

POSITION INFO

Minimum Requirements: Minimum of 3-5 years' experience as a New Vehicle Sales Manager within a franchised dealership. Proven track record of consistently achieving sales targets. Strong leadership, coaching, and people management skills. Excellent communication and negotiation abilities. Sound understanding of dealership operations and manufacturer requirements. Valid South African driver's licence. Computer literate (Evolve, Kerridge, Automate, or similar dealership management systems advantageous).
