We are looking for a proactive, detail-oriented, and highly organised
HR Administrator to join our People Management Team. The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting the day-to-day human resources and administrative functions of the business, ensuring the effective coordination of HR processes, employee records, compliance requirements, and employee lifecycle activities. You will work closely with the People Management Team to provide efficient administrative support and contribute to a positive employee experience across the organisation.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a solid foundation in HR administration who is looking to grow their career in Human Resources. Key Responsibilities Provide general HR administrative support across the employee lifecycle. Screen and review CVs against job requirements. Schedule interviews and coordinate candidate communications. Conduct reference and background checks where required. Prepare employment contracts, offer letters, appointment letters, and other HR documentation. Facilitate employee onboarding and induction processes. Maintain and update employee records, personnel files, and HR databases. Manage probation tracking and coordinate probation reviews. Assist with payroll administration and monthly payroll input submissions. Administer employee leave records and attendance tracking. Manage and maintain the HR calendar, including training, recruitment, and employee review schedules. Respond to employee HR-related queries in a professional and timely manner. Track and manage office equipment, assets, and employee allocations. Coordinate HR initiatives, projects, and employee engagement activities. Assist with Employment Equity, BBBEE, and Skills Development administrative requirements. Ensure compliance with company policies, labour legislation, and POPIA requirements. Prepare HR reports, statistics, and management information as required. Ensure all HR documentation is accurate, compliant, and up to date. Assist with HR audits and compliance reviews. Perform any other HR-related duties reasonably required by management. Requirements 2-3 years of HR Administration experience. Relevant HR qualification or currently studying towards a qualification in Human Resources (advantageous). Industrial Relations (IR) and Employee Relations (ER) Computer literate with proficiency in Microsoft Office and Google Workspace. Experience working with HRIS and payroll systems (advantageous). Strong administrative and organisational skills. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. High attention to detail and accuracy. Ability to handle confidential information professionally. Strong time management and multitasking abilities. Knowledge of South African labour legislation and HR best practices (advantageous). Experience in a FinTech or Financial Industry is advantageous What We're Looking For The ideal candidate is proactive, organised, and eager to learn.
