Role Description

This full-time, on-site Dental Assistant role is based at Asnaan Dentistry Northcliff in Randburg. The Dental Assistant will support dentists during clinical procedures, prepare treatment rooms, arrange instruments and materials, and assist with patient seating and comfort.

Maintaining high standards of infection control and sterilization, organizing dental records, managing appointment preparation, and ensuring that equipment is clean and ready for use.

The role also involves providing clear post-treatment instructions, promoting good oral care habits, and helping patients feel at ease, especially those with dental anxiety. |

Collaboration with the clinical and reception teams to support smooth patient flow and excellent service is essential.

Qualifications

• Strong skills in Dental Assisting and Sterilization, with a focus on safe, compliant clinical support.
• Knowledge of Dental Care, Dentistry, and Oral Care to assist effectively during a range of procedures.
• Recognized qualification or diploma in dental assisting or a related field.
• Previous experience in a dental practice or clinical environment is highly beneficial.
• Excellent interpersonal skills and a calm, patient-centered approach, including sensitivity to dental anxiety.
• Ability to follow detailed clinical instructions, maintain accurate records, and work efficiently in a busy setting.
• Strong attention to detail, reliability, and commitment to infection control and safety protocols.
• Available to work Monday – Saturday
