Business Intelligence Consultant

A Cape Town-based consulting organisation is seeking a Business Intelligence Consultant to join their team in Montague Gardens. This is an in-office role suited to a technically strong and client-focused professional who can translate business requirements into effective data and BI solutions while supporting end-to-end project delivery.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, implement, and document BI and data solutions
• Analyse and interpret data using SQL, Excel, and scripting tools
• Build and maintain ETL processes and ensure data accuracy and reconciliation
• Develop dashboards and reporting solutions using Qlik
• Translate business requirements into clear technical specifications
• Support clients through problem-solving, demonstrations, and solution presentations
• Identify opportunities to improve efficiency, automation, and reporting processes

Requirements

• Minimum 1+ year experience in Qlik development
• 2+ years’ experience in SQL, data analysis, and ETL processes
• 2+ years’ experience in a BI or consulting environment
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
• Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
• Ability to work independently and manage client-facing responsibilities
