Our client is seeking a talented Geometric Roads Engineer to join their established Roads Department in Cape Town. This is an excellent opportunity for an engineer looking to work on large-scale transportation projects that make a lasting impact on communities and economic development throughout the region.

Requirements

• BSc/BEng/BTech in Civil Engineering
• Minimum 5 years’ experience in geometric road design within a consulting environment.
• Strong Civil 3D modelling expertise.
• SANRAL project experience.
• Proven leadership and project coordination capability.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• ECSA registration or candidacy status advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Leading geometric road design on major transportation infrastructure projects.
• Producing and reviewing advanced Civil 3D models and design outputs.
• Managing project teams and coordinating multidisciplinary engineering inputs.
• Overseeing project quality, technical compliance and delivery schedules.
• Building strong relationships with clients and key stakeholders.
• Supporting project management activities and mentoring developing engineers.
• Contributing to innovative and sustainable transportation solutions.
