Our client, a respected and established construction company in Cape Town, is seeking an experienced Quantity Surveyor to join their team. This opportunity is ideal for a professional with a strong background in luxury, high-end construction projects and a passion for delivering exceptional results across prestigious developments.

Requirements

• Degree or Diploma in Quantity Surveying or Construction
• 5–10 years’ experience within the construction industry
• Demonstrated experience on luxury residential and other premium construction developments
• Knowledge of commercial, retail, office, hotel, restoration, redevelopment, and multi-storey projects
• Strong contractual and cost control expertise

Responsibilities

• Develop and manage project budgets and cost plans
• Prepare bills of quantities, tender documentation, and contract administration records
• Monitor project expenditure and financial performance
• Evaluate subcontractor quotations and recommend appointments
• Manage valuations, variations, and final account negotiations
• Prepare detailed commercial reports for management and project stakeholders
• Ensure compliance with contractual obligations and industry standards
• Collaborate closely with project managers, site teams, consultants, and clients
