Java Developer

Our client is seeking an experienced Java Developer to join their growing technology team. This opportunity is suited to a skilled software professional who enjoys building scalable solutions, mentoring team members, and contributing to the ongoing evolution of high-performance systems within a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Develop, enhance, and maintain business-critical software solutions.
• Lead the technical integration of new clients into existing systems.
• Design and implement new functionality and system improvements.
• Perform development testing and resolve complex technical issues.
• Provide third-line support and assist with troubleshooting efforts.
• Contribute to system security initiatives and audit requirements.
• Improve development methodologies, workflows, and best practices.
• Mentor and support developers within the team.

Requirements

• Tertiary qualification in Software Development, Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent.
• 8+ years of software development experience.
• Strong Java development skills, including Standard and Enterprise Editions.
• Experience with Spring Boot.
• Solid SQL experience, including MS SQL Server and PostgreSQL.
• Experience using Maven, Git, Eclipse, or NetBeans.
• Exposure to continuous integration and testing environments.
• Knowledge of OpenAPI protocols.
