POSITION INFO

Employer Description Professional Quantity Surveying practice based in Johannesburg specializing in residential, retail, commercial and industrial projects Job Description As a Professionally registered Quantity Surveyor, reporting into the Director, the key functions would be: Prepare and manage feasibility studies, including cost planning and budget estimates. Produce accurate cost reports throughout all project stages. Administer and negotiate final accounts to ensure successful project close-out. Conduct regular site visits to monitor progress, assess costs and provide commercial advice. Prepare tender documentation, manage tender processes and evaluate contractor submissions. Deliver quantity surveying and cost management services across all project stages (Stages 1-6). Monitor project costs, risks and variations to maintain budget control. Liaise with clients, consultants, contractors and project stakeholders to support project delivery. Manage, mentor, and develop junior team members, providing technical guidance and quality assurance. Support team performance through training, supervision and knowledge sharing. Qualifications Relevant QS qualification (BTech / BSc) SACQSP registration (PRQS) Skills Minimum 3 years' post registration experience Commercial project experience Benefits To be discussed
