About the Opportunity
We are recruiting on behalf of our client, a well-established distributor in the dairy and FMCG industry based in East London. This is an excellent opportunity for a driven, customer-focused sales professional who enjoys building lasting client relationships and delivering consistent results in a fast-paced environment.
As a Sales Representative, you will be responsible for managing an existing portfolio of clients while identifying opportunities to grow sales within your designated territory.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and grow a portfolio of existing customer accounts, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction and retention.
- Develop and implement territory sales plans aligned with business objectives.
- Conduct regular customer visits, product reviews, and sales meetings.
- Analyse sales performance to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement.
- Prepare accurate and timely sales reports for management.
- Collaborate with internal marketing and logistics teams to ensure exceptional customer service.
- Resolve customer queries and escalations professionally and efficiently.

Requirements
Minimum Requirements
- Tertiary qualification in Sales, Marketing, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3–5 years' experience in an FMCG sales environment.
- Proven ability to build, manage, and maintain long-term customer relationships.
- Experience analysing sales data and producing accurate sales reports.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Valid driver's licence, own reliable roadworthy vehicle, and willingness to travel within the assigned territory.
- Computer literate with proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM systems.
