REGIONAL PROJECT FIELD OFFICERS
- Number of Positions: 3 (North, Central, South)
- Responsible To: Monitoring and Evaluation Specialist
Job Summary
Under direct supervision of Monitoring and Evaluation Specialist, the Regional Project Field Officer will be responsible for providing high level technical guidance, strategic advice and partnership management to advance project components in designated region.

Duties
- Participates in and advises on the preparation of annual work plan and budget (AWPB) for the implementation of the project field activities.
- Cultivates strategic partnerships with stakeholders to enhance project impact in designated region.
- Offers expertise and oversight for project implementation for timeous delivery.
- Ensures effective utilization of project funds and resources.
- Represents the project in regional stakeholder meetings.
- Monitors progress through regular field visits.
- Identifies implementation challenges in the region and recommends alternative solutions.
- Builds and maintains strong collaborative relationships with all regional project stakeholders (including beneficiaries).
- Prepare timeous detailed technical progress reports (weekly, monthly, quarterly, annually).
- Organize field meetings, workshops and trainings for micro watershed village coordinators following proper procedures.
- Maintain beneficiary database.
- Trains Micro Watershed Village Coordinators.
Required Qualifications And Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Agriculture, Agribusiness Management, Project Management or related Social Sciences.
- At least 5 years practical experience working in a similar field.
- A postgraduate degree would be an added advantage.
Skills and Competencies
- Ability to navigate complex landscapes and work with diverse stakeholders.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Power Point).
- Excellent communication in Sesotho and English (written and oral).
- Strong people’s skills.
- Adaptability to rural environment.
- Ability to work under pressure.
- High level of integrity.
Other Competencies
- Applicants must pass a competency assessment test.
Duration of Contract
- Two (2) years and six (6) months with possibility of renewal upon satisfactory performance.
