About the Role

We are seeking an experienced, hands-on, and highly organized Warehouse Manager to oversee our daily warehouse operations. Based in the Sandton area, the successful candidate will be responsible for maximizing warehouse efficiency, optimizing stock control, and leading a high-performing logistics team to ensure seamless supply chain execution.

Key Responsibilities

• Operations Management: Oversee daily receiving, warehousing, distribution, and maintenance operations.
• Inventory Control: Implement and maintain robust inventory management practices to minimize shrinkage, damages, and discrepancies.
• Team Leadership: Recruit, train, supervise, and appraise warehouse staff while fostering a culture of high performance.
• Health & Safety: Enforce strict compliance with all health and safety regulations (OHSA) and maintain facility housekeeping standards.
• Strategic Planning: Optimize warehouse layout, space utilization, and workflows to meet current and future business needs.
• KPI & Budget Management: Monitor and report on KPIs (cost control, labour efficiency, and on-time delivery metrics). [ 1, 2, 3, 4]

Requirements

• Education: Relevant tertiary qualification in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
• Experience: 5+ years of proven managerial experience in a warehousing, logistics, or distribution environment.
• System Skills: Proficiency in warehouse management systems (WMS) and advanced MS Excel.
• Competencies: Strong leadership abilities, excellent problem-solving skills, and a solid understanding of supply chain procedures. [ 1]
