Executive Sales Representative (Marine & Industrial Solutions)

My client – Marine & Industrial Solutions Company is seeking a highly driven and commercially focused Executive Sales Representative to join their team in Perseverance.

This is a non-traditional sales role with a strong emphasis on office-based selling, client relationship management, and proposal development. The successful candidate will engage with clients across South Africa and international markets primarily via telephone, email, and digital communication, rather than traditional field sales.

The role is ideal for a strong sales professional who is comfortable managing the full sales cycle remotely, including lead generation, client engagement, quotation preparation, and after-sales support.

• Develop and maintain strong relationships with new and existing clients
• Drive business development through telephonic and remote sales engagement
• Prepare quotations, proposals, and supporting sales documentation
• Identify and convert new business opportunities within assigned markets
• Manage CRM systems, pipeline tracking, and sales reporting
• Collaborate with internal teams (operations, finance, logistics, technical)
• Support occasional client meetings and business travel within South Africa and Africa
• Ensure consistent follow-up and customer service excellence throughout the sales cycle

• Grade 12 (Matric) essential
• Proven sales experience (marine, boating, technical, or manufacturing industry advantageous)
• Candidates with boating ownership or marine exposure will also be considered
• Advanced MS Excel skills essential
• Strong communication, negotiation, and proposal writing skills
• Comfortable in an office-based, admin-intensive sales environment
• Valid driver’s licence and willingness to travel when required
• Experience with CRM systems advantageous

• This is an office-based role in Perseverance, Gqeberha
• Strong marine/boating industry knowledge is highly advantageous
• Candidates from Durban, Cape Town, or other regions willing to relocate will be considered
