Your Tasks

Conduct fire protection and loss control surveys across a wide range of client facilities and industries in South Africa

Identify fire and associated risks and provide clear, practical recommendations to reduce loss exposure

Perform machinery integrity and business interruption (B&M) assessments, including maintenance and reliability program reviews

Prepare high-quality technical reports and communicate findings to clients in a clear and actionable manner

Provide guidance on fire codes, standards, and regulatory requirements applicable in South Africa

Deliver training and technical support to clients and internal teams where required

Build strong relationships with client stakeholders, including risk managers, engineers, and senior leadership

Your Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Fire Protection, or related discipline)

Demonstrated experience in fire protection engineering, risk engineering, or loss prevention

Sound knowledge of fire protection systems, risk assessment practices, and industrial operations

Strong report writing and communication skills in English

Ability to work independently and manage client relationships effectively

Experience with maintenance and reliability programs is advantageous

Willingness and ability to travel regularly within South Africa and occasionally internationally

Travel: Frequent travel to client sites across South Africa is required

Reporting Line: Reports to the District Manager
