Systems & Automation Engineer - QSR

Hungry Lion runs a fast-moving, multi-market supply chain. Right now, too much of it depends on manual intervention - people catching exceptions, fixing processes by hand, filling gaps that a well-built system should handle automatically. This role exists to change that. You'll design, build, and continuously improve the replenishment systems that keep stock flowing reliably across our store network.

This is a build-and-own role. You're not maintaining someone else's system; you're shaping how replenishment works across a growing multi-country business. If you're energised by turning a messy manual process into something that runs itself, this is the right environment.

WHAT THE JOB ACTUALLY LOOKS LIKE

• Analysing replenishment processes and system behaviour to find where things break down and why.
• Designing and implementing system logic, validations, and automation that reduce manual work and operational risk.
• Supporting the development and improvement of our bespoke demand planning and replenishment tools, built on platforms like AppSheet and AppScript.
• Standardising replenishment rules and processes so they work consistently across multiple markets, not just one.
• Monitoring what you've built, measuring whether it works, and improving it when it doesn't.

WHAT WE NEED FROM YOU

• A degree or diploma in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field.
• Hands-on experience with workflow automation or analytics tools.
• The ability to translate what an operations team needs into a system solution they can actually use.
• Someone who takes ownership, works independently, and doesn't wait to be told what to fix.
