Role Description

We are looking for a motivated and enthusiastic Junior Electronic Design Engineer to join our growing team. This opportunity is ideal for a recent graduate or someone starting their engineering career. No previous work experience is required. We are looking for someone with a passion for electronics, a strong work ethic, and a desire to become an exceptional engineer.

Working directly with our Senior Electronic Engineer, you will gain exposure to every stage of the product development lifecycle from design and prototyping to testing, manufacturing, and customer support.

Key Responsibilitiesa

· Electronic schematic capture and circuit design

· Basic PCB layout and design

· Prototype assembly, testing, and debugging

· PCB bring-up and fault finding

· Production builds and quality inspections

· Cable harness assembly and testing

· Preparing Bills of Materials (BOMs)

· Component sourcing and inventory management

· Engineering documentation and revision control

· Product verification and validation testing

· Manufacturing support

· Research and development projects

· Customer project support

· Occasional visits to customers and suppliers

· General engineering activities under the guidance of the Senior Electronic Engineer

Minimum Requirements

· Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Electronic Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, or a related field (or currently completing your final year).

· No previous industry experience required.

· Basic understanding of analogue and digital electronics.

· Ability to interpret electronic schematics.

· Good computer literacy.

· Strong communication skills.

· Excellent attention to detail.

· Willingness to learn and grow professionally.

Employment Terms

· Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 08:00 – 17:00

· Probation Period: Three months

· Successful completion of the probation period may lead to permanent employment

· Salary: R10,000 – R15,000 per month

· Company laptop provided

· Occasional travel to customer and supplier sites will be required
