Hello Group is seeking to appoint a motivated and detail-oriented Intermediate Business Intelligence Analyst to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate should have a strong analytical mindset, excellent communication skills, and a passion for transforming data into meaningful business insights.

The candidate should be able to design, build, and maintain interactive dashboards and reports using Qlikview, Qliksense, Power BI, Tableau, or equivalent BI tools. This role is perfect for an individual with more than 3 years of relevant experience and has ability to translate business requirements into analytical solutions.

Minimum Requirements

SKILLS REQUIREMENTS / PERSONAL COMPETENCIES

  • SQL Proficiency – Ability to extract, manipulate, and analyse data from multiple databases.
  • Data Analysis & Interpretation – Strong capability to identify trends, patterns, and actionable insights from data.
  • Power BI / BI Reporting Tools – Expertise in developing dashboards, reports, and visualisations.
  • Data Modelling – Ability to design and maintain efficient data models for reporting and analytics.
  • Business Requirements Gathering – Skilled in engaging stakeholders to understand and document reporting needs.
  • Data Visualization – Ability to present complex data in a clear, meaningful, and user-friendly format.
  • Problem-Solving & Critical Thinking – Ability to investigate issues, identify root causes, and recommend solutions.
  • Data Quality Management – Ensuring data accuracy, integrity, consistency, and reliability.
  • Stakeholder Management – Ability to build relationships and communicate effectively with business users and leadership.
  • Communication, Presentation and Interpersonal Skills – Strong ability to communicate technical information and data-driven insights clearly to diverse audiences, build and maintain positive working relationships

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field (e.g., Statistics, Information Systems, Computer Science, Acturial Science or relevant).
  • 3+ years of experience in Business Intelligence, Data Analysis, or a related role.
  • Proficiency in BI tools (Power BI, Tableau, Qlik).
  • Experience using statistical and analytical tools such as Python, SQL or similar technologies to analyse data, identify trends, and generate actionable business insights.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Relevant certifications in Power BI, Data Analytics, Business Intelligence, or Data Management will be advantageous.

Duties and Responsibilities

Data Analysis

  • Analyse large datasets to identify trends, patterns, and anomalies.
  • Interpret data and provide recommendations to support business decisions.
  • Monitor and report on key performance indicators (KPIs).
  • Conduct ad hoc analyses to address business challenges and opportunities.

Database Management

  • Execute SQL and MySQL queries to extract, transform, and load data from various sources.
  • Ensure data accuracy, completeness, and consistency within the databases.

BI Tool Utilisation

  • Work with popular Business Intelligence tools to create dashboards and reports that provide actionable insights.
  • Assist in the implementation and maintenance of BI solutions to support decision-making processes.

Reporting

  • Generate regular and ad-hoc reports to meet the information needs of different business units.
  • Collaborate with team members to understand reporting requirements and deliver accurate and timely reports.
  • Create data visualizations that provide actionable business insights.

Collaboration

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather business requirements and translate them into data-driven solutions.
  • Communicate findings and insights effectively to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Continuous Learning

  • Stay updated on the latest trends and technologies in business intelligence and analytics.
