Are you a trade-tested Diesel Mechanic with a passion for keeping heavy machinery running at its best? Our client is looking for an experienced Diesel Mechanic to join their team in Rustenburg, working on GHH Mining Machines in an underground and surface mining environment.

Who we're looking for: Matric / Grade 12 Qualified Diesel Mechanic (trade tested - essential) Minimum 5 years' post-trade experience on TMM (Trackless Mobile Machinery) Experience on GHH Mining Machines advantageous Valid driver's licence Willingness and ability to travel What you'll be doing: Performing planned maintenance (services and improvements) on GHH Mining Machines Diagnosing, troubleshooting and repairing diesel engines, fuel systems, hydraulics, transmissions, and drivetrains Conducting vehicle inspections and recording findings on inspection reports Assisting with breakdown maintenance on surface when required Proactively arranging and requesting spares to minimise downtime Performing welding and fabrication as needed Ensuring full compliance with mine safety rules, procedures, and regulations Attending and contributing to safety talks and toolbox sessions Identifying training needs on site and mentoring junior team members What makes a great fit: Strong fault-finding and problem-solving ability Reliable, safety-conscious, and detail-oriented Comfortable working in a structured mining environment Team player who takes initiative To apply: Send your CV and a brief note on your TMM experience and trade certificate.
