INVOICE CLERK (BCom)

Our client is seeking a detail-oriented and organised Invoice Clerk to join their finance team. This role is ideal for someone with a background in finance and customer invoicing who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment where accuracy and meeting deadlines are key.
Requirements for the role
- Accounting or Finance qualification (Degree) or 1–2 years’ relevant experience in a finance / logistics invoicing role
- Sound understanding of basic accounting principles
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, with advanced Microsoft Excel skills
- Excellent numerical aptitude with exceptional attention to detail
Key Responsibilities
- Accurately capture and process customer invoices within required deadlines
- Ensure all customer invoices are completed before month-end close
- Prepare landed cost calculations for customers where applicable
- Maintain accurate and systematic filing of emails and supporting documentation
- Monitor, investigate and resolve invoice and document pack exceptions
- Provide administrative support to the Financial Accountant
