Front Office & Compliance Administrator
When a business maintains a perfect reputation in international trade, every single client interaction matters. If you are a sharp, organised professional who thrives on variety, loves helping people, and wants to build a long-term career in business operations and compliance, this is your entry point.
Operating on behalf of a highly successful, specialised vehicle export business based in Fourways, Sandton, Badger & Bird Talent is looking for a versatile Front Office and Compliance Administrator.
This is a close-knit, highly committed team where everyone pulls together. It is an on-site, five-days-a-week role that reports directly to the Head of HR, with a close working relationship with the Compliance and Marketing Manager.
What is in it for you?
- A Defined Career Path: This role is designed for long-term growth. Depending on your natural strengths, you can choose to master the full front-and-back-office operations or specialise directly into a compliance career track.
- Direct Mentorship: Working in a compact, focused business means you report directly to senior leadership, giving you visibility and learning opportunities you will not get in a massive corporate pool.
- A Stellar Work Environment: Join a friendly, positive team that takes immense pride in their work and maintains an unblemished reputation for service excellence.
- The Package: A structured monthly salary of R15-18,000.
Your Impact on the Business
- The Face of the Brand: You will manage the front office, creating a warm, professional first impression for clients visiting from various African nations, balancing genuine friendliness with professional boundaries.
- The Operational Engine: You will keep the office running smoothly, managing correspondence via Outlook, drafting documentation in Word, and tracking data in Excel.
- The Compliance Guardian: You will assist with straightforward administrative checks and balance functions, helping manage foundational regulatory requirements for international vehicle transit.
- The Ultimate Team Player: As a small business, you will wear multiple hats and step in to assist across departments whenever a colleague needs a hand.
What you bring to the table
- The Right Mindset: A naturally warm, hard-working personality with the cultural awareness to engage comfortably with international clients. A proactive attitude trumps everything else here.
- Strong Literacy & Admin Skills: Flawless, professional English communication skills, both written and spoken, with meticulous attention to detail.
- Tech Savvy: Good proficiency in Microsoft Office, specifically Word, Outlook, and Excel.
- Education & Exposure: A completed tertiary qualification in Administration, Office Management, or Accounting is preferred, but solid experience and the right aptitude are what matter most. Any basic exposure to FICA or compliance processes is a bonus.
