LOGISTICS AND WAREHOUSE MANAGER

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO

  • Manage and optimise daily logistics and warehouse operations across inbound, storage, order fulfilment and outbound.
  • Ensure high service levels, on-time delivery and inventory accuracy.
  • Lead, coach and develop warehouse and logistics teams.
  • Drive productivity, safety, quality and continuous improvement.
  • Manage relationships with transporters, 3PLs and other partners.
  • Ensure compliance with legal, food safety and company standards (H&S, audits, SOP’s).
  • Implement and maintain FIFO/FEFO inventory management practices to minimize product expiry and waste.
  • Monitor warehouse and chiller capacity, storage utilization and layout to maximise operational efficiency.
  • Investigate inventory discrepancies, delivery issues and customer complaints, implementing corrective actions.
  • Ensure all warehouse equipment (forklifts, racking, scanners, etc.) is properly maintained and serviced.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, Operations Management or related field.
  • 10+ years’ experience in logistics and warehouse management within the FMCG industry (essential).
  • Strong knowledge of FMCG supply chain processes, cold chain (advantageous) and WMS systems.
  • Proven leadership, people management and communication skills.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Excel) and ERP/WMS systems.
  • Valid driver’s licence.
