What a Senior Manager, Impact Partnerships CEMEA Social Impact & Sustainability does at Visa:

As a key member of Visa’s Central Europe, Middle East and Africa (CEMEA) team, the Senior Manager will shape and advance the development and execution of the region’s SIS strategy, aligning with Visa’s 2030 business vision and market-specific priorities. This role will lead the development and execution of impact programs in CEMEA and will be a critical connector who will support Visa Foundation in the execution of its strategy through strong market-level partner management and advising. The Senior Manager is pivotal in driving measurable impact through strategic programs, partnerships, and stakeholder engagement.

Key Responsibilities

1. Strategy Development & Execution

  • Shape and advance the CEMEA social impact & sustainability strategy and roadmap to deliver on Objectives and Key Results (OKRs).
  • Align initiatives with Visa’s global priorities, focusing on:
    • Empowering small businesses and entrepreneurs through digital tools, knowledge, access, and security.
    • Promoting financial education to foster economic inclusion and development.
    • Enhancing digital commerce security for all users.
    • Demonstrating Visa’s long-term commitment to the communities we serve.

2. Impact Program Leadership

  • Lead regional strategy for impact programs and partnership deployment and advise on Visa Foundation capital allocation in CEMEA region, in alignment with market strategies.
  • Manage end-to-end impact program delivery, including oversight of key public and private sector partnerships.
  • Drive local Visa market team awareness of and connection to Visa Foundation partners through strong relationship management and by supporting events, site visits and other visibility opportunities.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with country leadership, Communications, and Government Affairs teams to implement and scale programs.
  • Develop compelling narratives that articulate Visa’s purpose and impact in priority markets.
  • Establish feedback loops to share insights and best practices across regions.
  • Integrate social impact & sustainability into key client and government engagements to drive both social and commercial outcomes.

3. Stakeholder Engagement

  • Build and maintain strong, trust-based relationships with key external stakeholders across CEMEA.
  • Enhance Visa’s reputation and influence with decision-makers through consistent, values-driven engagement.

4. Measurement & Reporting

  • Oversee the tracking and reporting of social and business outcomes in alignment with defined OKRs.

Visa requires at least 3 days in office, expectations of these days will be confirmed by your Hiring Manager.

Qualifications

What you will need

  • Bachelor’s degree in any relevant discipline
  • Minimum 8 or more years’ experience across some combination of public, private, and civil sectors. Experience in working in the technology and/or financial services sectors preferred, as well as government, politics, communications, and/or economic development is a plus.
  • Excellent stakeholder management with experience with the ability to deliver an aligned plan across multiple stakeholders to drive a shared vision
  • Proven track record of creating, implementing, and scaling public-private partnerships in emerging markets with clear positive outcomes for the local community as well as the company’s reputation and business strategy.
  • Experience developing and deploying comprehensive public affairs campaigns centered around the company’s contributions to the local community and economic development.
  • Demonstrated success in building long-term partnerships with leading organizations in the public and civil sectors.
  • Previous experience navigating complex corporate environments and translating global strategies into regional and country approaches.
  • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to manage competing priorities with a flexible and adaptable approach to support broader market strategic initiatives as needed
  • Knowledge of French would be preferable

  • Strong understanding of financial inclusion and SMB needs
  • Understanding of the intersection between social impact, government/regulatory affairs and communications
  • Global mindset but knowledgeable of different cultural ecosystem landscapes and ability to connect to Visa business goals
  • Passion for and ability to create impact
