SUMMARY

An opportunity exists for an experienced Quality Control Inspector within a high-volume manufacturing environment producing plastic injection moulded closures for packaging-related applications. The role reports to the SHERQ Manager.

In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring that products consistently meet required quality, safety, and customer standards by carrying out inspections, testing, and accurate recordkeeping throughout the production process.

POSITION INFO

Key Responsibilities Safety & Compliance Follow all Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) requirements and company safety procedures Wear the required personal protective equipment (PPE) at all times Comply with food safety and hygiene standards within the production environment Quality Control & Inspection Carry out incoming, in-process, and final inspections according to quality procedures Perform visual, functional, and dimensional checks against product specifications and customer requirements Approve first-off samples before production continues Identify and report any non-conforming products or process deviations Complete and support Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs) where required Assist with investigating quality issues and supporting corrective actions Ensure defective products are isolated and traceability is maintained Conduct routine quality tests and record results accurately for reporting and audits Maintain colour standards and quality registers Support production teams by providing guidance on quality requirements Assist with the release of finished goods, including preparation of Certificates of Approval (COA) Minimum Requirements Grade 12 / Matric Minimum 3 years' experience in a manufacturing Quality Control or Quality Assurance environment Experience in plastics or high-volume injection moulding environments advantageous Good understanding of product specifications and customer requirements Familiar with NCR processes and basic problem-solving methods Computer literate (MS Office) Understanding of document control and quality systems Internal auditing exposure advantageous Strong attention to detail and ability to work under pressure How to Apply To apply for this position, please follow the steps below: Visit Click Apply and submit your CV online
