A leading international Freight Forwarding, Clearing and Logistics organisation is seeking an experienced Chief Financial Officer / Head of Finance to lead its Mozambique finance function.
Reporting to executive leadership, the successful candidate will be responsible for the overall financial strategy and performance of the Mozambique business, including financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, treasury, cash flow, governance, compliance, business performance, and commercial financial support.
Minimum Requirements
Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting or Commerce
CA(SA), CIMA, ACCA, CPA or equivalent professional qualification preferred
Minimum 10 years' finance experience, including at least 5 years in a senior finance leadership role
Proven experience within the Freight Forwarding, Clearing, Logistics, Shipping or Supply Chain industry
Strong knowledge of IFRS, taxation, treasury, financial reporting, corporate governance and compliance
Experience managing budgets, forecasting, financial planning, profitability and cash flow
Experience operating within multi-currency and cross-border environments
South African citizen with previous experience living and working in Mozambique or elsewhere in Africa
Fluent in both English and Portuguese (essential)
Willing to be based in Beira or Maputo, Mozambique
