About The Opportunity

Our client, a well-established and respected food manufacturing company, is looking to appoint an experienced

Production Manager to lead a high-volume, continuous manufacturing operation.

This is an excellent opportunity for a hands-on production leader with strong technical expertise and a proven track record of improving operational performance, leading multi-shift teams, and driving continuous improvement within a manufacturing environment.

POSITION INFO

Key Responsibilities Lead and manage daily production operations across multiple shifts. Drive productivity, efficiency, quality, and cost optimisation. Ensure production targets are consistently achieved. Lead, coach, and develop production supervisors and operational teams. Maintain high standards of food safety, quality, housekeeping, and health & safety. Oversee production planning, scheduling, and resource utilisation. Work closely with Maintenance, Quality, and Supply Chain to maximise plant performance. Monitor KPIs and identify opportunities for continuous improvement. Ensure compliance with company policies and industry standards. Minimum Requirements Degree or Diploma in Engineering, Industrial Management, Food Technology, Operations Management, or a related field. Minimum 7 years' Production Management experience within a manufacturing environment. At least 3 years' experience managing multi-shift production teams. Experience in food manufacturing, FMCG, continuous processing, or a similar manufacturing environment. Strong understanding of Lean Manufacturing and continuous improvement principles. Knowledge of ISO, HACCP, or food safety systems will be advantageous. Excellent leadership, planning, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
