About The Role
A well-established food manufacturing company in Mpumalanga is seeking an experienced Supply Chain Operations Manager to oversee the end-to-end supply chain function within a fast-paced production environment.
This senior leadership role is responsible for ensuring the efficient movement of materials, managing procurement activities, overseeing warehouse and inventory operations, coordinating fleet activities, and maintaining strong supplier relationships to support uninterrupted production.
The successful candidate will be a hands-on operational leader with excellent planning, problem-solving and people management skills.

Key Responsibilities Manage end-to-end supply chain operations to ensure efficient production support. Develop and maintain strong supplier relationships. Coordinate the sourcing and procurement of operational materials and services. Oversee fleet operations, transport scheduling and vehicle utilisation. Manage warehouse operations, inventory control and dispatch activities. Ensure the continuous availability of critical production materials. Monitor inventory levels and implement effective stock control measures. Work closely with Production, Engineering and other operational departments. Analyse operational performance and identify opportunities for continuous improvement. Prepare operational reports and monitor key performance indicators. Ensure compliance with company policies, quality standards and health & safety requirements. Lead, mentor and develop a multidisciplinary operational team. Minimum Requirements Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Management or a related field. Minimum 5-8 years' experience in supply chain or operations management within a manufacturing environment. Proven experience managing procurement, warehousing, inventory and fleet operations. Strong leadership and people management experience. Excellent negotiation, organisational and communication skills. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced operational environment.
