Hostess

We are currently looking for a Hostess based in Johannesburg to join our dynamic team.

The Hostess role plays a critical customer experience role within dealership operations, directly influencing first impressions, client satisfaction, and the overall dealership experience. The Hostess is responsible for professionally welcoming and assisting customers, ensuring they are attended to promptly, maintaining a warm and organised reception environment, and supporting smooth communication between customers and dealership departments.

This is a customer-focused, service-driven role requiring exceptional interpersonal skills, professionalism, and a passion for delivering outstanding customer experiences.

Key Responsibilities

• Front-of-House & Customer Experience
• Welcome all customers in a professional and friendly manner
• Manage customer flow within the showroom/service areas
• Ensure every customer is acknowledged and assisted promptly
• Maintain a premium, organised, and presentable reception area

Communication Management

• Answer, screen, and direct incoming calls efficiently
• Handle customer enquiries via phone, email, and walk-ins
• Take accurate messages and ensure timely follow-up
• Communicate clearly between departments (Sales, Service, Parts)

Administrative Support

• Capture and update customer information on systems
• Assist with booking schedules and appointment coordination
• Support general administrative tasks as required by management

Operational Support

• Coordinate with sales and service teams for smooth customer handovers
• Ensure customers are directed to the correct department quickly
• Support dealership events, deliveries, and customer experiences

Minimum Requirements

• Grade 12 (Matric) – essential
• Previous receptionist, hostess, or front-of-house experience advantageous
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Professional presentation and customer service mindset
