Human Resources Manager

We are representing a South African company in the FMCG space. This HR Manager position is suited to an individual who lives in the West Rand of Johannesburg as our client is based near Krugersdorp. The head of HR will lead the organization’s HR, people & culture function, driving the people strategy, culture, and employee experience to support sustainable growth. This position is suited to an individual that has successfully implemented and driven culture initiatives. This role supports the board and reports to the MD; therefore, you should be comfortable in the boardroom as well as the field working with both blue and white collar workers.

Duties and Responsibilities

This individual will be a partner and advisor to the executive team, overseeing all aspects of human resources including ensuring labour law compliance, managing employee relations, talent acquisition, employee engagement, learning and development, compensation, and organizational design. The head of HR will also ensure that HR operations are efficient, compliant, and scalable to meet the evolving needs of the business. Lead change management and cultural initiatives. Employment equity initiatives, supporting BBBEE and compliance requirements, and ensuring that HR systems, records, reporting, and governance standards are maintained accurately and effectively.

Desired Experience and Qualifications

• Tertiary qualification in a related field
• 5+ years’ experience in a generalist HR role
• Experienced working with both blue collar and white collar employees
• Lead change management and cultural initiatives

Package and Remuneration

R 600 000 to R 650 000 per annum
