Production / Site Manager

We are seeking a strong mining professional with extensive Chrome mining experience and proven leadership capability to oversee site operations, drive production performance, and maintain the highest safety standards.

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing operational performance while ensuring compliance with mining legislation, company standards, and best practices.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee and manage the mining operations to achieve production targets safely and efficiently
• Lead, motivate, and develop operational teams to maintain strong performance
• Ensure compliance with mining legislation, safety standards, and company procedures
• Manage operational risks and implement effective mitigation strategies
• Coordinate opencast mining activities and ensure adherence to blasting and control requirements
• Conduct inspections and monitor safety and production performance
• Manage operational resources, materials, and project requirements

Minimum Requirements

• Grade 12 / Matric
• 3+ years Production / Site Manager experience in opencast Chrome mining operations
• Mine Overseer Certificate of Competency
• Valid Driver’s Licence
• Medically fit to work underground
