Our client, a leading provider of Business Environment Infrastructure and Business Technology solutions with over 35 years of proven success, is seeking a dynamic NOC Engineer to bolster their team. Duties: Act as the primary contact for all client incidents and service requests via phone, email, and the service portal. Perform initial triage, accurately log details into the PSA ticketing system, and classify/prioritize tickets based on severity and SLA metrics. Troubleshoot and resolve Tier 1 incidents on first contact whenever possible, or prepare documentation for escalation. Execute password resets, MFA setups, and user access provisions within Microsoft 365 environments. Troubleshoot hardware issues (laptops, desktops), basic local/network printer problems, and standard software operating systems (Windows/macOS). Resolve basic M365/Outlook mail flow issues, shared mailbox permissions, and folder restriction configurations. Review daily system automated health checks, triage backup failure alerts, and escalate infrastructure issues as necessary. Maintain high levels of customer service by providing clear, detailed ticket notes and regular status updates to clients. Requirements: 1-2 years of experience in a help desk, support, or network operations environment. Strong troubleshooting skills across hardware, software, and network issues. Familiarity with Microsoft 365 administration and basic network concepts. Excellent communication skills with a customer-centric approach. Ability to work on-site in Gauteng. Nice to Have: Knowledge of ITIL principles and ticketing systems. Basic understanding of network infrastructure components.
