Role: Senior Communications Specialist Duration: 5 months Location: Johannesburg and Pretoria (Hybrid) Rate: Negotiable Overview We are seeking a Senior Communications Specialist to support a high-impact engagement within a transformation-focused environment. The role will support key transformation initiatives, ensuring clear, consistent, and strategic communication across stakeholders during a period of organizational change. Minimum Requirements Bachelor''s degree in communications, Public Relations, Journalism, Marketing, or related field Postgraduate qualification will be an advantage 8-10+ years' experience in Strategic / Corporate Communications roles Proven track record in change and transformation communications Prior experience in consulting or contractor-based engagements advantageous Strong stakeholder management at senior/executive level Ability to independently design and implement communication strategies Experience in complex, fast-paced corporate environments Excellent writing, messaging, and content development skills Key Competencies Strategic communications planning and execution Executive stakeholder influence High-level writing and messaging expertise Strong business and commercial understanding Ability to deliver in ambiguous and evolving environments Strong consulting mindset and adaptability
