SUMMARY

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Finance Manager to oversee the financial operations of our portfolio. The successful candidate will provide strategic financial leadership, ensure sound financial management, and support operational teams in driving profitability and sustainable growth

POSITION INFO

Financial Management & Reporting

  • Oversee all accounting and financial reporting functions.
  • Prepare monthly management accounts and financial statements.
  • Conduct variance analysis and provide recommendations to management.
  • Ensure accurate and timely financial reporting. Budgeting, Forecasting & Planning
  • Lead the annual budgeting process.
  • Prepare rolling forecasts and financial projections.
  • Monitor lodge performance against budgets and targets.
  • Support strategic planning and business decision-making. Cash Flow & Treasury Management
  • Manage cash flow and working capital requirements.
  • Monitor bank balances and funding needs.
  • Ensure effective cash management across all lodge operations. Compliance, Risk & Internal Controls
  • Ensure compliance with tax, statutory, and regulatory requirements.
  • Maintain and improve financial policies and procedures.
  • Manage internal controls and risk mitigation processes.
  • Coordinate internal and external audits. Cost Control & Procurement Oversight
  • Monitor operational costs and identify cost-saving opportunities.
  • Review procurement processes and supplier agreements.
  • Ensure inventory controls and asset management procedures are maintained. Payroll & Finance Operations
  • Oversee payroll processing and related statutory submissions.
  • Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable functions.
  • Ensure reconciliations are completed accurately and on time. Team Leadership & Development
  • Lead, mentor, and develop the finance team.
  • Establish performance objectives and development plans.
  • Promote a culture of accountability and continuous improvement. Business Partnering & Operational Support
  • Work closely with General Managers and departmental heads.
  • Provide financial insights to support operational decisions.
  • Drive profitability initiatives and performance improvements across the lodges. Grade 12
  • Bachelor''s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • Professional qualification (CA(SA), CIMA, ACCA, or equivalent) advantageous.
  • Minimum 5 years'' experience in a Finance Manager role.
  • Previous hospitality, tourism, lodge, or hotel experience preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and compliance.
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel and accounting system skills.
  • Excellent leadership, analytical, and communication skills.
