The main purpose of this position is to conduct business analysis and document requirements in a manner that is suitable for achieving the strategic objectives of THE COMPANY; this includes but is not limited to:
- Identifying systems solutions to problems, bringing business and Information Technology together, translating business requirements into solution requirements and conveying the business requirements into the development space.
- Focusing on business optimisation and investigating more efficient ways of working and organising processes to achieve business goals.
- Bringing together different elements of the business by performing a consolidation and innovation role to create new or different alternatives and solutions.
The successful candidate will be responsible for the following key performance areas:
- Identifying stakeholders who are impacted by an initiative or share a common business need.
- Consulting with business to understand business objectives, drivers, functions, and structures, and developing detailed workflow analyses.
- Planning and executing business analysis activities.
- Consulting with business and technical stakeholders to elicit, analyse, communicate, document, and validate requirements for changes to business processes or systems requirements.
- Investigating problems and proposing possible solutions by interacting with users, developers and other participating stakeholders.
- Analysing the feasibility of options, recommending viable solutions, validating these with stakeholders and updating the business requirements specification or change request document.
- Working collaboratively with the business customers and technical stakeholders to document the specifications for a chosen solution in terms of information systems, processes, and people requirements.
- Interacting and working with the Project Manager, Solution Architect, Testers and Systems Analyst to run RFIs and POCs if required.
- Interacting and working with the Project Manager, Solution Architect, Testers and Systems Analyst to execute a RFP for the acquisition of a solution and service provider.
- Interacting with Project Manager, Enterprise Architects, Testers and Developers to ensure the system is developed according to scope and it is properly implemented by monitoring whether requirements are being met.
- Reviewing and reporting on the quality of the solution being deployed.
- Documenting change requirements and specifications.

- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent (e.g., BCom Informatics, BSc Informatics, BTech);
- Diploma in Business Analysis
- Minimum of five and ideal eight years’ experience in business analysis and Working knowledge of Information Management methodologies (Data Collection, Data Management, Data Analysis, Data Orchestration, Meta Data Management, Dimensional Analysis & Reporting)
- Casewise Foundation Certificate (preferred)
- Solid exposure to Agile methodology,
