Job Overview
To coordinate and manage regional charity, sponsorship, and community investment initiatives in support of the company's corporate social responsibility (CSR) objectives. The role is responsible for overseeing charitable funding, loyalty programme initiatives, and the Giving for Hope Foundation, while supporting B-BBEE administration and compliance. The incumbent will drive initiatives that promote education, healthcare, skills development, and poverty alleviation, ensuring effective stakeholder engagement and sustainable community impact.
POSITION INFO
Minimum Requirements: A diploma or degree in public relations, marketing, communications, business management, or a related field will be advantageous. Experience or exposure within the financial services or banking sector will be advantageous. A minimum of 1-2 years' relevant experience in corporate social investment (CSI), corporate social responsibility (CSR), marketing, public relations, communications, or a related field. Demonstrated experience in coordinating community development initiatives, sponsorships, stakeholder engagement, or social responsibility programmes will be advantageous. Experience in digital marketing, social media management, content creation, copywriting, and the coordination of marketing campaigns will be advantageous. Experience in planning and coordinating events, managing projects, and engaging with internal and external stakeholders will be advantageous. Exposure to loyalty programme administration, non-profit or foundation initiatives, and B-BBEE administration or compliance processes will be considered an added advantage. Key Responsibilities: Assess sponsorship and charity requests and conduct detailed background and compliance checks on applicants. Engage and communicate with applicants, beneficiaries, suppliers, and stakeholders professionally and efficiently. Prepare detailed reports, proposals, recommendation packs, and submissions for committee and management review. Assist with the preparation of monthly executive committee (Exco) reports. Provide administrative and strategic support from a marketing and communications perspective on all CSR and sponsorship initiatives. Assist in the development, implementation, coordination, and ongoing management of loyalty programmes and related campaigns. Conduct market research and competitor analysis to improve loyalty offerings and customer engagement. Assist to create engaging content for digital platforms, internal communication, and marketing campaigns. Assist with copywriting for media releases, social media content, presentations, reports, and promotional material. Coordinate sponsorship and CSR projects from planning through to implementation and reporting. Prepare documentation and supporting information for meetings and committee reviews. Attend internal and external meetings and follow up on action items and approvals. Assist with the management and administration of the charity loan programme. Monitor payments, maintain accurate records, and coordinate the handover of late payment matters to attorneys where necessary. Email CVs to :
