Content & Operations Coordinator

Fluke Media SA

Content & Operations Coordinator

Location: Pretoria — Garsfontein area (Hybrid)

Employment Type: Full-time

About Fluke Media

At Fluke Media, we're our clients' feet on the ground. We work closely with businesses to uncover their expertise and turn it into content people actually want to watch.

We're a growing social media agency where strategy, creativity and execution go hand in hand. We're genuinely passionate about the work we do — every project gets our full effort, not just "another video" or "another deliverable." That energy is part of what makes Fluke, Fluke, and we're looking for someone who wants to bring that same care to the table while learning and growing alongside an ambitious team.

About the Role

This is a support role, but it's one of the most important roles in our business.

You'll become the backbone of our day-to-day operations, helping ensure that every project moves smoothly from planning to publishing. You'll work alongside our strategist, videographer and editor to keep productions organised, deadlines on track and content delivered to the highest standard.

This role is also a genuine growth opportunity. You'll work closely alongside an experienced creative team, learning how a content agency runs from the inside while developing real, hands-on video editing skills — not just picking up admin tasks along the way, but being actively taught and mentored as you go.

To give you a sense of the split: this role is roughly 60% admin and operations, 40% content editing, with the aim of that editing side growing as your skills do.

If you enjoy being organised, solving problems and making sure the details are right, while still getting to be creative, this role could be a great fit.

Responsibilities

Operations & Admin

• Maintain and update content calendars across all client accounts.

• Coordinate content deadlines, approvals and publishing dates.

• Keep production timelines aligned with monthly content plans.

• Assist with diary management for the leadership team, including scheduling client meetings, internal meetings and content shoots.

• Coordinate team availability and booking logistics.

• Help manage the day-to-day agency schedule, ensuring the team is prepared for upcoming meetings, productions and deadlines.

• Assist in planning weekly priorities and keeping projects on track.

• Organise project folders, footage and creative assets.

• Assist in preparing shoot documents, client presentations and reports.

• Keep production trackers and internal workflows updated.

• Help prepare equipment and production materials for shoot days.

Social Media Publishing

• Schedule content across multiple social media platforms.

• Upload reels, stories and carousel posts.

• Quality-check captions, tags, links and post formatting before publishing.

• Assist with content planning and production administration.

• Ensure content is published accurately and on time.

Content Editing & Skill Growth

• Work directly alongside our editor to build your skills — this is an area we want to actively invest in growing over time, not just a task on the side. So if you are new to the content game but keen to learn, this is where you'll get to boost your skills.

• Prepare content for internal review and client approval.

Requirements

• Passion for social media and digital content.

• Good understanding of Instagram, TikTok, Facebook and LinkedIn.

• Basic experience with video editing (CapCut or similar).

• Strong organisational skills and excellent attention to detail.

• Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.

• Comfortable working independently and taking initiative.

• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

• Fluent in English.

• Valid driver's licence and own transport is required.

Experience with

• Canva

• Meta Business Suite (is a bonus)

• Planable or similar scheduling software

• Google Workspace

• Microsoft — Word & Excel

Who We're Looking For

We're less concerned about years of experience than finding the right person.

You'll thrive at Fluke if you:

• Love both creativity and organisation.

• Naturally notice the details others miss.

• Enjoy solving problems and finding better ways of working.

• Take pride in producing quality work.

• Are proactive and reliable.

• Learn quickly and enjoy developing new skills.

• Want to build a long-term career in social media and content creation.

Why Join Fluke?

At Fluke, you'll gain hands-on experience across every stage of the content creation process, from strategy and planning to production, editing and publishing.

You'll work on a diverse range of brands and industries, collaborate with a passionate creative team and have the opportunity to continuously grow your skills, with real mentorship along the way.

We care about the work we put out, and we want someone who cares just as much — someone who wants to go all in on every project with us, not just tick boxes.

Most importantly, you'll become an essential part of how our agency operates. This role touches almost every project that leaves our office, making you a key contributor to the success of both our clients and our team.

Think you're the right fit? We'd love to hear from you.
