Supervisor Production with Animal Feed Industry experience

This position will report directly to the Factory Manager and will be based in George (Western Cape)

Will be mainly responsible for safe, efficient and comliant production performance across three shifts, providing leadership and direction to shift supervisors and ensuring consistent standards, output and discipline

People living in George area or otherwise you must be able to come for an interview and relocate on your own cost

• Lead and manage production activities to achieve volume, quality and efficiency targets.
• Manage and develop shift supervisors and production teams across three shifts, ensuring correct staffing, discipline and performance management.
• Ensure strict adherence to safety, quality and biosecurity standards.
• Execute production plans and schedules, adjusting priorities for breakdowns, constraints or urgent orders.
• Monitor and report key production KPIs, including throughput, yields, downtime, and waste, and implement corrective actions
• Enforce SOPs, work instructions, and housekeeping standards to maintain an organised and audit-ready site
• Act as relief for the Factory Manager when required
• Identify and drive continuous improvement initiatives to improve output, quality, and cost performance
• Ensure accurate production reporting, cross-shift handover, escalation, and clear shift communication
• Coordinate with maintenance, quality, and logistics teams to ensure smooth operations and timely problem resolution

• National Operations Diploma/Matric
• 3-5 years relevant experience within the animal feed industry)
• Excellent communication skills
• Must be able to work independently
• Efficient in the use of Microsoft office
• Willing to work overtime.
• Valid driver’s license with own reliable transport

• Knowledge of safety and feed manufacturing standards

R400 000 p/a plus pension
