Introduction

An exceptional opportunity is available for an experienced management couple – Game Ranger and Lodge Manager – to join a luxury lodge within the prestigious

Mjejane Private Game Reserve, bordering the Kruger National Park. This exciting hospitality role is ideal for a passionate couple looking to combine their expertise in lodge operations, guest experience, conservation, and guiding.

The successful couple will take responsibility for the day-to-day management of a 5-star self-catering lodge, ensuring outstanding guest satisfaction while maintaining the highest operational standards. This unique safari opportunity requires a dynamic team capable of working independently, leading by example, and delivering memorable guest experiences in a world-class bush environment. If you are passionate about wildlife, people, and luxury hospitality, this could be the perfect next step in your career.

Lodge Manager (Her)

Minimum 5 years’ experience in a lodge management or hospitality management role
Hospitality Management Diploma or equivalent qualification
Strong knowledge of Front Office, guest relations, housekeeping, HR, administration, and finance
Experience managing reservations, check-ins, check-outs, and guest services
Proficiency in Outlook, Excel, and Word
Experience using Nightsbridge and online booking extranets
Financial management, budgeting, and stock control experience
Marketing and social media experience advantageous
Strong leadership, communication, and organisational skills
Ability to work independently and maintain luxury lodge standards

Game Ranger / Trails Guide (Him)

FGASA Level 2 (NQF4) or Professional NDT registered
Full Trails Guide qualification with ARH
Valid First Aid Certificate
Rifle accreditation and VPDA
Excellent game drive and bush walk hosting experience
Strong maintenance, gardening, and lodge upkeep knowledge
Off-road 4×4 driving experience
Ability to operate independently in a remote safari environment

Package

Salary: R60 000 per month (couple package)
Live-in accommodation provided
Luxury safari lodge working environment
Opportunity to work within a renowned Big 5 reserve
Long-term growth potential within the hospitality industry
No meals provided
No pets or children permitted on the property
