DAIRY MANAGER – FM000104

Somerset East area, Eastern Cape – South Africa: The successful candidate will be Knowledgeable, Ambitious, Energetic and Passionate about the Dairy Industry and will be looking for a long-term career with our client.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

• Minimum 5 years’ experience.
• Strong management and leadership skills.
• Knowledge of herd health, nutrition, and reproduction.
• Proven AI experience.
• Ability to work under pressure.
• Basic administration and record keeping.
• Mechanical and technical knowledge would be advantageous.
• Valid driver's license.
• Familiar with Afikim,4th Quadrant and Excel.

RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO

• Complete management of the dairy and staff.
• Pasture and feed planning.
• Management of irrigation system and pastures.
• Maintaining high standards of cleanliness and animal health.
• Collaboration with farm management and veterinarian.
