Our client in Pietermaritzburg is looking for two driven and enthusiastic

YES Sales Trainees to join their dynamic automotive sales team as part of a 12-month YES Internship Programme.

Salary is R8 000

POSITION INFO

This internship offers a hands-on opportunity to learn how the automotive sales process works, from customer engagement to vehicle delivery. Successful candidates will gain exposure to day-to-day dealership operations, assist with sales functions, and develop valuable professional, communication, and customer service skills. Requirements: Matric / Grade 12 certificate Valid driver's licence (non-negotiable) Must not have completed a YES Programme previously Currently unemployed It would be advantageous if you are currently studying towards, or have recently completed, a qualification in: Sales and Marketing Business Management Commerce Computer literate (MS Office: Excel, Word and PowerPoint) Strong verbal and written communication skills Passion for the automotive industry Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills Willingness to learn and grow in a fast-paced environment Responsibilities: Assist sales consultants with customer enquiries and follow-ups Support vehicle presentations and test drive arrangements Maintain accurate records of customer interactions and leads Assist with preparing sales documentation, quotations, invoices and delivery paperwork Participate in dealership events, activations and promotions Conduct research on vehicle models, pricing and competitor offerings Assist with updating online vehicle listings and marketing content Learn to track and report on performance metrics such as lead conversions and sales targets Provide administrative support to the sales and finance teams This internship offers an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on industry experience and build a strong foundation for a career in automotive sales Please note only candidates that meet the minimum requirements will be considered.
