Senior Software Developer (AI Engineering Focus)

Our client is seeking a Senior Software Developer to enhance and modernise existing systems while driving the practical adoption of AI within an approved Claude Enterprise environment. This role is suited to a technically strong professional who can translate complex business challenges into scalable, reliable software solutions within a fintech environment.

• Develop and maintain scalable applications, APIs, and backend services

• Improve existing systems with a focus on performance, reliability, and maintainability

• Drive AI initiatives and AI-assisted development workflows

• Design and optimise PostgreSQL databases, SQL queries, and data models

• Support the migration of low-code solutions to modern platforms

• Collaborate with business stakeholders to deliver effective solutions

• Mentor junior developers and contribute to engineering best practices

• Strong experience with C# and .NET

• Expertise in API development and backend services

• Advanced PostgreSQL and SQL skills

• Experience with database design, query optimisation, and relational/vector architectures

• Practical AI engineering experience, including Claude Enterprise

• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills

• Power Apps, Power Automate, Dataverse, Power BI

• Azure DevOps and CI/CD pipelines

• JavaScript, TypeScript, React, and Blazor

• Experience in fintech, lending, financial services, or regulated environments
