Sales & Marketing Manager - Pretoria

An established international automotive component manufacturer is looking for an experienced Sales & Marketing Manager to lead its commercial operations and strengthen relationships with key OEM customers.

This is an excellent opportunity for a commercially driven professional with a strong automotive manufacturing background who enjoys managing customer accounts, leading projects, and identifying new business opportunities.

The Role

Reporting into senior management, you will be responsible for driving sales growth, managing customer relationships, coordinating new business opportunities, overseeing quotations and commercial negotiations, and ensuring successful project implementation from concept through production.

You will work closely with engineering, quality, manufacturing and project teams to ensure customer expectations are met while supporting profitability and long-term business growth.

Minimum Requirements

• Degree in Sales & Marketing, Business Management or a related qualification.
• Previous Account Management experience within the automotive manufacturing industry.
• Proven experience managing customer projects and developing business opportunities.
• Experience in procurement and/or sales.
• Knowledge of process planning within an automotive environment.
• Experience in tool and jig manufacturing.
• Experience within assembly and press shop operations.
• Proficient in MS Office, with knowledge of CATIA.
• Strong commercial, negotiation and analytical skills.
• Excellent communication and relationship management abilities.
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

• Identify and secure new business opportunities.
• Coordinate new projects and engineering changes.
• Prepare and negotiate commercial quotations.
• Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure successful project delivery.
• Support customer satisfaction while maintaining profitability.
• Ensure compliance with relevant quality standards and industry requirements.
