Join a Leading Building Contractor A well-established and highly respected building contractor is seeking an experienced Site Engineer to join their growing team on large residential development projects based in Paarl and Fisantekraal, Cape Town. This is an excellent opportunity for a technically strong construction professional looking to work on quality developments within a dynamic and professional environment. Key Responsibilities Oversee daily engineering and site construction activities. Ensure all work is carried out in accordance with approved drawings and specifications. Coordinate subcontractors, suppliers, and site personnel. Monitor quality control and ensure compliance with project standards. Assist with project planning, programming, and progress reporting. Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations. Resolve technical site queries and liaise with consultants where required. Monitor productivity and maintain accurate site records. Minimum Requirements National Diploma or Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field. Minimum 5 years' experience as a Site Engineer within the building construction industry. Proven experience on large residential housing or apartment developments. Strong understanding of construction methodologies, quality assurance, and site coordination. Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills. Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications. Valid South African driver's licence.
