Data AI Engineer

Starting as soon as possible, you will join our Data & AI team in Johannesburg, supporting the business in designing, building, and deploying scalable AI-driven solutions using Microsoft Copilot Studio and Azure AI Foundry. Your objective will be to automate business processes, accelerate delivery of AI use cases, and improve operational efficiency across the business.

Your Missions

Design, build, and deploy scalable AI-driven solutions leveraging Microsoft Copilot Studio and Azure AI Foundry

Automate business processes and accelerate delivery of AI use cases

Integrate enterprise data sources and ensure robust data pipelines

Develop and maintain agent-based architectures and conversational AI solutions

Implement and optimize generative AI and machine learning models

Ensure adherence to established standards, governance, and best practices

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver impactful AI solutions

Document technical solutions, processes, and best practices

Your Profile

Experience as a Data AI Engineer or similar role (1–3 years)

Experience with Microsoft Azure AI Foundry

Experience with other AI tools or platforms

Proven experience building and deploying AI/ML or generative AI solutions

Experience in agent-based architectures or conversational AI

Experience with Python programming and API integration

Experience with prompt engineering, RAG pipelines, and model evaluation/tuning

Experience with Microsoft Azure ecosystem and data integration (SQL, APIs, data lakes)

Experience with GitHub, CI/CD pipelines, and DevOps practices (SAFe is a plus)

You demonstrate strong communication and collaboration skills
