Senior Kubernetes Engineer

iqx the Technology Division of iqbusiness is seeking highly experienced Senior Kubernetes Specialist to design, implement, secure, and support enterprise-grade Kubernetes platforms running on bare-metal infrastructure. This role requires deep hands-on expertise across the complete Kubernetes platform lifecycle, from infrastructure provisioning and cluster deployment to ongoing operations, security, monitoring, automation, and performance optimization.

The successful candidate will have a strong Linux systems administration background and extensive experience building highly available, production-ready Kubernetes environments.

This role suits a self-driven professional who demonstrates strong ownership, excellent troubleshooting skills, and a passion for automation, platform engineering, and continuous improvement. Experience with cloud infrastructure, particularly AWS, is advantageous.

Experience Required

• Extensive experience designing and supporting enterprise Kubernetes platforms. Strong Linux systems administration experience.
• Proven experience deploying and managing production-grade Kubernetes clusters on bare-metal infrastructure.
• Experience implementing Kubernetes security best practices.
• Experience with infrastructure automation using Terraform and Ansible.
• Strong understanding of Kubernetes networking, storage, and observability.
• Experience supporting containerized applications in production environments.
• Experience working with distributed SQL query engines and data platforms is advantageous.
• Exposure to AWS cloud services and Kubernetes services such as Amazon EKS is beneficia Network Policies
