Job Purpose
To provide IT application user support to business
Minimum Requirements
- National Diploma / B Degree in Information Technology
- Minimum of 3 years IT applications support experience.
- Knowledge of the System Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
- Minimum of 2 years programming experience in relevant technology .
- Minimum 1 year experience in application, API, database testing (unit testing of code, integration testing of modules, regression testing, data testing, end-to-end functional testing).
- Minimum 1 year experience in database administration (query design and scripts) either SQL server, Informix or Oracle.
Duties and Responsibilities
- To perform application trouble shooting, optimization, and reporting.
- Handling or managing internal customer or ticketed query system. Resolving and closing queries.
- To make input into operating policies, procedures and guidelines;
- To report on performance and to identify and escalate performance constraints.
- To test applications developed in-house by CIPC developers.
- To test API and database development by CIPC backend developers.
- Working with development team, analysts and customer to maintain and improve applications and workflows.
